Images: Shangla valley of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa blanketed in snow

Upper parts of the district Shangla of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa received a heaviest snowfall of the decade as its almost area covered in snow blanket and presenting a mesmerising view and attracts tourists but the blockade of major and links roads is hampering travel in the district.
Upper parts including tourists destinations; Shangla top, Ajmir, Yakhtangay, Kandaw, Pir Sar, Jaba Lilonai and other areas received 5-6 feet of snow and plain areas about a feet.
The administration has asked the local people to avoid unnecessary travel and use of snowchain for vehicle’s tyres.
